ZXMoto 500F Launched in Nepal at Rs 15.50 Lakh

BikersNepal, the sole authorised distributor of ZXMoto motorcycles in Nepal, has launched the ZXMoto 500F in Nepal at a price of Rs 15.50 lakh, bringing a 470cc inline-four engine, classic naked-bike styling and modern chassis technology to the middleweight motorcycle segment.

The ZXMoto 500F draws inspiration from the iconic Japanese Universal Japanese Motorcycles (UJMs) of the 1970s and 1980s, combining a round LED headlight and clean tail section with modern performance and technology.

The motorcycle gets a clean and timeless naked-bike design, highlighted by its round LED headlight, minimalist tail section and compact bodywork. Its riding position is designed around comfort, with a relatively low 795 mm seat height that makes the motorcycle more approachable for a wider range of riders.

At the heart of the 500F is a 470cc, four-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 72 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 48 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. The engine uses a 59 mm bore and 43 mm stroke, with a 12:1 compression ratio and Bosch electronic fuel injection.

The inline-four engine is one of the motorcycle's biggest highlights, delivering the high-revving character and distinctive exhaust note associated with four-cylinder motorcycles.

The 500F measures 2,015 mm in length, 805 mm in width and 1,090 mm in height, with a 1,395 mm wheelbase. It has a 795 mm seat height and a 15.5-litre fuel tank, while the kerb weight stands at 175 kg.

The motorcycle is built around an integrated steel trellis diamond frame and gets an aluminium-alloy rear swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by inverted front forks with adjustable damping, while the rear uses a conventional swingarm setup.

Braking is handled by dual 300 mm floating discs at the front with floating calipers, while the rear gets a 220 mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper. The motorcycle also features dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control.

The 500F rides on CST S1 tyres, measuring 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear. These are mounted on 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels.

With its 470cc inline-four engine, 72 bhp output, adjustable inverted forks, dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control and retro-inspired styling, the ZXMoto 500F brings a distinctive four-cylinder option to Nepal's middleweight motorcycle segment at Rs 15.50 lakh.
